Teen + Tween Yoga Series - Thursdays 4-4:45pm - Running for 6 weeks from April 25-May 30th.

Could your teen or pre-teen (geared for ages 10-14) benefit from exercise, flexibility, body awareness, and mindfulness? Students will experience the amazing benefits of yoga for body, mind, and soul in a lighthearted environment. Classes will include breathing exercises, discussion of topics such as self-confidence and body positivity, yoga flow, mindfulness, and meditation.

Alexandra has 15 years of experience teaching yoga and mindfulness to youth and she leads kids and teen yoga teacher training programs throughout the Bay Area.

Cost: $165 for all 6 classes. (10% off for Metta Yoga members applies automatically at checkout)

Perk: Up to one missed kids yoga session may be issued as a class credit for a regular adult yoga class for the teen, parent or caregiver!

Alexandra Rossi is a ERYT and YACEP yoga and mindfulness based stress reduction teacher. She helps children and adults find peace from stressful living and develop healthier habits to lead authentic life in tune with their desires. Her calling is to empower others to live a mindful life while eating, parenting, birthing, communicating and exercising.

Alexandra studied yoga for 3 decades and practice meditation with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, as well as Jon Kabbat-Zinn at University of Massachusetts. Alexandra leads multiple classes and yoga teacher trainings to serve adults and children in San Francisco and the bay area. She has helped countless students find inspiration, build confidence, relaxation and wellbeing using tools of mindfulness, yoga and qigong practices. She draws her inspiration from time spend in Plum village with Buddhist Monk Thich Nhat Hanh as well as upon many yogic traditions and positive psychology studies.
