ABOUT METTA YOGA

Amy and Rachael created Metta Yoga to bring a yoga studio to Marin that is edgy and fun, but still deeply rooted in yogic tradition.  In the spirit of metta, or loving kindness, we created a beautiful space for our community to come together and explore the practice of yoga – both on and off the mat.  We hope that Metta Yoga inspires you to live vibrantly, compassionately and joyfully.

explore your edge. transform your body. fuel your soul.

FOUNDERS

Amy Greywitt Amy completed her first yoga teacher training with Les Levanthal at Yoga Tree SF. She was hooked - fireworks sparked, tears came, mind, body and soul were lit on fire. In 2016, Amy enrolled in her second teacher training with Dana Damara. Amy’s second training was joyfully interrupted by the early birth of boy girl twins. Amy firmly believes in the importance of yoga to balance our stressful lives. She teaches a dynamic and graceful, yet challenging flow inspired from her background as a dancer and athlete.

Rachael Koss Rachael wandered into her first yoga class a few years ago, without expectation, just wanting to move her body. That class awakened Rachael to so much of herself that had been pushed aside while raising children and developing a career. Rachael's continued yoga practice has reignited her creativity, and reminds her to let go, to play and to listen. Rachael completed her teacher training with Dana Damara in 2016. Rachael is passionate about making yoga and mindfulness an accessible, light-hearted and fun practice.
