Life can be hectic-especially while parenting and living with young children! Yoga is certainly a fantastic way for adults to practice self care, destress and practice living in the present moment, and yoga also offers myriad benefits for kids as well. It helps children to manage emotions, as well as opportunities to explore fun physical movement, develop body awareness and coordination, and of course, to play!!
In this monthly recurring special class, you and your child will be guided through a playful practice in which there will be countless opportunities to positively connect through playfully exploring yoga poses, games, creative movement, physical contact and more!
Through the poses you and your little one will have opportunities to discover shapes, explore balance and the celebrate the body's incredible abilities. The poses will be combined with imagery of animals, nature, and emotions, making for a very creative and relatable experience for all. We will also introduce working with the breath in an imaginative way that is accessible to children.
Ages 2-6 welcome.
Please bring your own mats!
Class will run 45 minutes. Children and parents/caregivers will have 10 minutes to regroup, snack, use the bathroom etc, then we will playfully pow-wow for story time, yoga art activities, music and more! Feel free to bring blankets for children to sit on, snacks, and water.
$36 for one Sunday class (up to three family members).
$20 extra add on for families of 4+.
$100 for four Parent/Caregiver & Littles drop ins ($44 savings). Classes run on a monthly basis.
