Suspended Somatics Therapy Workshop Series

Join Jen Healy, founder of Aerial Yoga Play, AYRx Therapeutix, and Suspended Somatics Therapy, for a transformative 3-part journey into the body’s living matrix of connective tissue, movement, and energy.

Each two-hour immersive workshop explores a unique theme designed to deepen your understanding of how suspension, somatic awareness, and spiral energetix can guide us toward greater healing, alignment, and vitality.

Upcoming Workshops: Sundays 2-4pm

  • November 16: Joints & Connective Tissue

  • December 14: Circulation & Lymph (Immune Boosting)

  • January 18: Energy, Alignment & Chakra Integration

What To Expect:

  • Through a blend of therapeutic aerial yoga movements, somatic education, and guided exploration, each session offers a balance of science and embodiment:

  • We will continue to explore the fascia and connective tissue as a dynamic, responsive matrix — a communication network for force transmission, hydration, and adaptability.

  • Experience supported suspended movements (using her deluxe designed AYRx Yoga Swing) to decompress the spine, mobilize the joints, and awaken multidimensional articulation — a hallmark of the Suspended Somatics approach.

  • Explore spiral, fluid, and non-linear dynamics to unwind habitual holding patterns and restore natural movement flow.

  • Focus on key anatomical and energetic “hubs” — such as the shoulders, hips, spine, and lymphatic gateways — to enhance circulation, immune response, and energy flow.

  • End with a deeply restorative (cocoon) meditative integration phase, allowing your nervous system and tissues to assimilate new pathways of ease and awareness.

  • Engage in somatic dialogue, reflection, and Q&A to bridge your in-swing experience into everyday movement and embodiment.

  • Each month’s theme builds upon the last — from releasing fascial tension and stress, to nourishing joint health and tissue resilience, to stimulating lymphatic flow, and finally, to integrating energetic alignment and chakra balancing.

Who It’s For:

All levels are welcome — yogis, bodyworkers, therapists, movement educators, and curious explorers alike. No prior aerial or somatic experience is required. Just bring your willingness to play, sense, and experience your body in a new way.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Improved connectivity, elasticity, and responsiveness in the fascia and connective networks

  • Greater ability to relieve chronic tension, stiffness, or pain

  • Injury prevention insights through balanced strength, adaptability, and play

  • Tools for stress relief, nervous system regulation, and embodied presence

  • A deepened connection between somatic awareness, energy flow, and movement

Logistics & Preparation:

Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing (leggings and fitted tops recommended). All equipment — swings and mats — will be provided. A brief health intake may be required to ensure safety and personalized modifications.

COST: $199 for all 3 sessions or $75 drop in per workshop. (10% off for Metta Yoga members applies automatically at checkout)

Jen Healy is the visionary creator of Suspended Somatics Therapy, a leading-edge modality that bridges somatic inquiry, fascial science, quantum physics, and aerial suspension to awaken the body’s innate intelligence. As the founder of Aerial Yoga Play, Aerial Yoga Rx (AYRx), and Zen Healyng, she integrates her deep study of energy, biomechanics, and embodied movement into transformational experiences that help participants safely open, align, and restore optimal health to mind, body, and spirit.

Her teaching honors the interplay between structure and flow, form and space, guiding others to dissolve tension, revive fluid dynamics, and cultivate presence through somatic listening. Jen Healy plays with the body as a multidimensional, adaptive system — capable of regeneration and resonance when given the space to move, breathe, and realign.
