2nd & 4th Saturday of every month. Starting in August!
This is a class for you mama. Because taking care of yourself while raising young kids is possible. Whether your little one is crawling, toddling, or just playing nearby, you deserve time to move your body and reconnect with yourself.
Yoga for Moms & Tots is designed for moms with young children who want to stay active and connected to other parents. Through yoga, breathwork, and mindfulness, you will build strength and flexibility, all in a kid-friendly environment.
Join Jonathan Pofsky for the Mindful Dads Workshop!
Modern dads often feel stressed and seek deeper connections amidst their busy lives. If you’re looking to take a dad time-out and become more present with your family, this workshop is for you.
You’ll explore mindfulness techniques to cultivate calmness, learn effective communication tools, and build a supportive community with fellow dads.
We are thrilled to bring back our KIDS Yoga Teacher Training at Metta, in collaboration with It's Yoga Kids ®.
Designed to nurture mindfulness and well-being from a young age, this specialized program will equip you with the skills to guide children on their yoga journey.
Yoga helps children to manage emotions and provides opportunities to explore fun physical movement, develop body awareness, coordination, and of course, to play! We will create space to connect through yoga poses, games, storytelling and more. Parents welcome to stay and watch or drop off.
Could your teen or pre-teen (geared for ages 10-14) benefit from exercise, flexibility, body awareness, and mindfulness?
Guided by Tiana, students will experience the amazing benefits of yoga for body, mind, and soul in a lighthearted environment. Classes will include breathing exercises, discussion of topics such as self-confidence and body positivity, yoga flow, mindfulness, and meditation.
Perimenopause and menopause bring a series of complex, often overlooked changes that can deeply affect both mental and physical well-being. As hormones fluctuate, so too can mood, energy, sleep, cognition, and overall wellness. But with the right support and understanding, this phase can also be a time of reconnection and empowerment.
Join us for an insightful panel where we will explore the full spectrum of changes during this journey and how a holistic, integrative approach can help restore equilibrium.
Join Jane Austin (Perinatal Teacher and Trainer for 30+ Years and Founder of Mama Tree) to learn the essential information needed to practice and/or teach yoga at this powerful and transformative time.
This 3-hour workshop goes beyond the dos and don’ts, we will cover the whys with a deep dive into the anatomy and physiology of the pregnant body. You will learn modifications and variations of postures so that you can better practice and/or serve your pregnant students. There is a lot of misinformation about what is appropriate at this time. We will debunk some of the myths. This workshop will include lecture, discussion and a short practice. It will be fun, informative and maybe mind blowing. The only prerequisite is that you come with a curious and open mind.
