Metta x Cloudbreak Campout
South Fork American River - Lotus, CA (near Sacramento)
Led by Hy Long | May 29-31, 2026
Some weekends change you. This is one of them.
Three days on the river. Morning yoga as the sun rises over the water. A day of whitewater rafting with instant friends. Evenings of yin, sound healing, bonfires, and the kind of conversation that only happens under stars.
This is grown-up summer camp for your body and your spirit. Built for people who want to move, breathe, laugh, rest deeply, and remember what it feels like to be connected.
Hy Long leads this weekend as he leads his classes - with presence, devotion, and a quality of attention that meets you exactly where you are. Whether you come alone or with a friend, youβll leave as community.

About the Instructor
Hy Long was born in Vietnam and carried across the ocean as a baby. His family were survivors of war, refugees who landed in San Francisco and called it home. He grew up in the Bay Area, became a yogi, and has spent his life learning what it means to arrive fully as the human you were born to be.
Based in Marin, Hy brings his lived yoga journey to every class. His practice is devotional without being distant, rigorous without being rigid. Students leave feeling held.
As a Breathwork and Sound Bath facilitator, he weaves crystal bowls, gong, and rhythmic breath to guide students from the noise of the outside into the quiet stillness beneath it.
Hy is also a grandfather. He watches his grandsons learn to fall, laugh and try again - he sees in that the whole yoga philosophy. The practice isnβt about perfection. Itβs about the courage to show up again and again.
His studies include a 200hr YogaWorks Teacher Training (Joan Hyman & Carmen Fitzgibbon), a 200hr Ananda Vinyasa Teacher Training (Lesley Desaulniers), and a 300hr YogaWorks Teacher Training (Michele Klink), alongside Kirtan studies with Jai Uttal, Sound Bath Level I + II Certification (Jamie Bechtold & Robert Lee), and Reiki Level II Certification (Sophie Demitra).
