San Rafael
Metta Yoga San Rafael is our spacious, light-filled studio for diverse classes and special events, as well as the home of all Metta Mama offerings.
Expanded into a larger studio in 2025, this space brings the heart of Metta Yoga to our San Rafael community and surrounding neighborhoods.

We are now located directly on 4th street at the corner of 4th and Cijos.
Parking
Free street parking is available before 8am, after 6pm, and all day on Sundays. The A and C Street Garages are also free on Saturdays and Sundays. Metta can validate up to 1 hour in the public parking garage on A Street between 3rd and 4th. Additional parking is available in the paid lot at 3rd and Cijos behind Sol Food, at Walgreens, and at metered spots on 4th Street and Cijos Street. There is also free parking in the alley behind the studio.
Pre-registration
We encourage you to pre-register on the METTA YOGA APP, but please remember to also check in when you arrive at the studio. If you are new to Metta and did not pre-register, please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class to sign in and purchase a package.
Studio Amenities
This studio features two spacious practice rooms and three bathrooms.
We offer natural mat cleaner, complimentary props including blocks, straps, bolsters, and blankets, plus a chilled, filtered water bottle filling station.
Mats and sweat towels are also available for rent.
