Welcome, new students! Read on to get familiar with our studio policies.
CLASS CANCELLATIONS
Classes may be canceled up to 2 hours prior to class start time. If you cancel within 2 hours or do not show up for class, your pass will be deducted as if you have attended (for drop ins and class pack holders) and unlimited members are subject to a $12 fee (utilized only for sold out classes).
If you waitlist the class, you could be automatically added up to 1 hour prior to start time. If you can no longer attend the class, remove yourself from the waitlist before being added to the class online to avoid late cancellation penalties.
We do not take reservations or cancelations by email, text, phone, or in-person. You must login to your online account to manage your schedule.
We reserve the right to amend our cancelation policies and fees at anytime.
MEMBERSHIP TERMS
These terms apply to Unlimited and Limited Memberships.
Contract Duration: There is no minimum duration for this contract. Contract renew pursuant to your membership agreement until terminated (see Termination below).
Suspension: You may suspend your agreement up to 3 times per year for medical reasons or vacations per contract year. We require a 2 week minimum suspension with a set end date. Suspensions may not be longer than 6 months cumulatively per contract year. We require 48 hours notice of the suspension in writing via email to info@mettayogastudio.com. If your request is received within 48 hours, it may be missed and you are subject to your monthly charge processing if it falls within those 48 hours.
Termination: You may terminate your Agreement by written request, by emailing info@mettayogastudio.com at least 7 days prior to your next billing date. Following termination, Your membership will continue until the current billing cycle expires. If you email within 7 days, we cannot promise that your termination will be processed in time, and you could incur a non-refundable charge for the next month. Payments made prior to termination are non-refundable.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
All purchases for Services (Memberships, Class Packs, Drop-Ins, Events, Workshops) are non-refundable, non-transferable, non-adjustable, and non-applicable to future purchases. Unattended classes or any unused services cannot be refunded. Our schedule and offerings are subject to change at any time and are not grounds for a refund. We encourage you to be modest in your initial purchases, and make sure you can reach the venue and enjoy our services and our instructors before making a larger purchases.
Unused merchandise will be accepted for a full refund within 7 days of purchase. After 7 days, a store credit will be issued for up to 30 days. No returns will be provided without a receipt.
All memberships require 7 days notice for cancellation via written request only to info@mettayogastudio.com (see Membership Terms above).
WORKSHOP AND EVENT CANCELLATIONS
Workshops and events are non-refundable from the time of booking.
TEACHER TRAINING CANCELLATIONS
Teacher training cancellations are governed by a separate policy that can be found on our Training page or by emailing info@mettayogastudio.com.
RESERVATIONS
Reservations are held until 2 minutes after the start of class. If you are late, your spot may be given away to someone on the waitlist.
NON-RECORDING OF VIRTUAL/ONLINE CLASSES AGREEMENT
You acknowledge and agree that any type of recording or transmission (video, audio, still photography, streaming, social media posting, etc.) of any virtual or online Metta classes or activities is strictly prohibited without the prior written consent of an authorized corporate officer of Metta. Metta instructors are not authorized to provide consent. This includes even a temporary recording/transmission of a virtual or online class via any online platforms such as SnapChat, Zoom, Facebook, or Instagram.
You are, however, permitted to record and post lawful, non-offensive content related to your participation in a Metta class before and/or after a class with the consent of each participant who is identified in your content.
Any violation of this non-recording agreement is grounds for exclusion from participation in any Metta activities. You further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Metta, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and instructors, from and against any claims, lawsuits or other actions, and all resulting loss, damage or cost of any kind (including reasonable attorneys’ fees), resulting from your violation of this non-recording agreement.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
You agree that we are in no way responsible for the safekeeping of your personal belongings while you are present in the studio. You assume all risk of loss for any of your personal belongings.
INJURY/PREGNANCY/POSTPARTUM/SENSITIVIES
If recovering from injury or illness, are pregnant, are recently postpartum, or have known physical or sensory sensitivities, please notify the instructor prior to class start time.
