survive & thrive - deep healing for cancer

One Sunday per month at Metta San Rafael

Join Stacy Conlon for a monthly gathering where we create a sanctuary of healing for those touched by cancer. Each session features gentle movement, guided imagery meditation, hands-on Reiki healing, and a serene Crystal Bowl Sound Bath

This holistic approach combines multiple healing modalities to alleviate pain, reduce anxiety, and promote a sense of balance and deep well-being.

Open to All: Whether you're in treatment, recovery, or supporting someone who is, you’re invited to come exactly as you are. This gathering is designed to be a safe, loving space for sharing and connecting with others on similar journeys.

Stacy Conlon is a certified mindfulness meditation facilitator and Reiki master practitioner. Oncology Yoga Classes with ashley stachon

Mondays and Tuesdays at Metta Yoga San Rafael

Yoga for healing

Mondays 9:15am-10:30am at Metta Yoga San Rafael

Yoga for Healing is a gentle, nervous-system–based class that supports the body’s natural capacity to heal. This class is for everyone - whether you are navigating trauma, chronic stress, back pain, illness or cancer recovery, injury, or simply the wear and tear of life.

The practice is alignment-based rather than vinyasa-based, blending mindful movement, breath awareness, and intentional rest to support nervous system regulation while building strength and stability. Emphasis is placed on creating a supportive foundation by strengthening the core, glutes, and upper back to promote spinal health and sustainable movement.

Movement is intentional, accessible, and adaptable, with generous use of props to create a sense of safety, support, and ease. This class offers a steady, compassionate space to slow down, reconnect with your body, and support healing on physical, emotional, and energetic levels.

Life After Treatment Oncology Yoga

Tuesdays 6:45pm-8pm at Metta Yoga San Rafael

This class supports individuals post-treatment or in long-term survivorship as they navigate the physical, emotional, and identity shifts that can follow cancer. Rooted in the Yoga4Cancer methodology, the practice focuses on rebuilding strength, flexibility, balance, and confidence while supporting immune and lymphatic health, bone density, joint mobility, and the management of lingering side effects such as fatigue, pain, stiffness, neuropathy, and lymphedema.

Classes emphasize mindful movement, breathwork, and nervous system balance, offering adaptable practices taught with a deep understanding of cancer recovery and long-term survivorship needs. There is no pressure to “bounce back” or perform; instead, the class creates a supportive space to rebuild trust with the body and reconnect at a sustainable pace. Appropriate for all levels, including those new to yoga or returning after time away.
