Active Patient Oncology Yoga
This evidence-informed yoga class is designed for people currently undergoing cancer treatment, Rooted in the Yoga4Cancer methodology, this class uses safe, accessible movement and breath practices to support the body through treatment and to meet participants exactly where they are, physically, emotionally, and energetically.
Classes are designed to:
Build and maintain strength and flexibility without overexertion.
Support immune health and lymphatic function through intentional movement.
Reduce cancer-related fatigue.
Improve sleep quality and help reduce anxiety.
Support bone density through gentle, weight-bearing postures.
Help manage common treatment side effects such as lymphedema, constipation, and neuropathy.
Practices emphasize nervous system regulation, mindful pacing, and rest. All postures are offered with props and modifications. There is no expectation to push, stretch, or “power through.” This class honors fluctuating energy levels, side effects, and the lived reality of treatment, creating a safe, supportive space for connection, empowerment, and care.
No prior yoga experience required.

Life After Treatment Oncology Yoga
This class is designed for people post-treatment or in long-term survivorship, navigating the physical, emotional, and identity shifts that can come after cancer. Based on the Yoga4Cancer methodology, this class supports rebuilding strength, restoring confidence, and reconnecting to the body in a compassionate, informed way.
Classes are designed to:
Rebuild strength, flexibility, and balance to support daily life and long-term health
Improve immune and lymphatic function through purposeful movement
Increase bone density and support joint health
Reduce lingering fatigue, pain, and stiffness and increase mobility
Manage long-term side effects such as neuropathy, lymphedema, and digestive challenges
Support emotional processing, stress resilience, and nervous system balance in order to reduce anxiety through breath work and mindfulness practices
Empower survivors to take an active role in their ongoing health and wellness
This is a space to reclaim agency, rebuild trust with the body, and explore life beyond treatment. Without pressure to “bounce back” or perform. Movements are adaptable and taught with a deep understanding of cancer recovery and long-term survivorship needs.
Appropriate for all levels, including those new to yoga or returning after a long break.
